Are you looking to be an agent of change towards a #FutureReady and #Sustainable Singapore? Join our Zero Waste Bootcamp (ZWB) to learn about Singapore’s environmental initiatives and also gain skills and knowledge while carrying out a meaningful project in the community!

  CALLING ALL YOUTH WHO ARE:

1. 18 – 35 yrs of age

2. Residents of Singapore

3. Team players who can volunteer 3-6 hours every week

**Do ensure you are available for teamwork from Feb to mid-May 2023**

  WHAT TO EXPECT IN THE BOOTCAMP?

This 8th edition of the ZWB – slated to kick off on Saturday, 4 Feb 2023 at Singapore Sustainability Academy – is an accelerated course for youth in Singapore to execute projects dedicated to environmental and social causes. In collaboration with other like-minded individuals, the youth participants will create actionable plans to roll out the project till mid-May 2023. The project will be designed by Secondgsuru and a local organisation to have an eco + social outcome.

There are 3 key points in the timeline:

1. Kick-off | 4 February 2023 at Singapore Sustainability Academy

2. Midterm review | Mid-March 2023

3. Final review | May 2023

In addition, regular check-ins and mentoring will take place on an ongoing basis.

WRAP UP

In May (date TBC), the teams will present their project outcomes and learning at an in-person catch-up. The projects will then be converted into artistic posters and featured in a traveling exhibition across various libraries in Singapore.
