Zero Waste Bootcamps

Secondsguru youth education zero waste bootcamp
Are you 18-35 yrs old and do you want to be an agent of change?

The Zero Waste Bootcamp (ZWB) is a 12-16 week programme where youth (18-35 years old) team up, create and execute sustainability projects. The ZWB equips youth with skills and knowledge to craft meaningful projects with sustainable impacts, giving them the opportunity to gain mentorship in their engagement with Secondguru’s founders as well as partner not-for-profit organisations.

Since 2019, we have conducted 7  bootcamps and our alumni number 150+ participants. This combined cohort of working professionals as well college students has joined/organized 45+ community events, forging 60+ collaborations with a range of partners and sparking a cascading impact as they reached out to over 150,000 individuals through online and in-person reach! Currently powered by the National Youth Council (NYC), the biannual bootcamps will run till 2023 (for sure) and beyond (we hope!).

Register for the next bootcamp at bit.ly/ZWBsecondsguru! Write to us at bootcamp@secondgsuru.com if you have any questions.

Educational Booths at Community Events

Educating the community to guide people to make impactful eco-choices

As a social enterprise, Secondsguru conducts community educational events with a view to create interactive education in public spaces. These include face-to-face and yes, virtual sessions too! Examples include creating pledge stations at Marina Barrage alongside the Ministry of Sustainability and the Environment (MSE), to a webinar for the People’s Association’s PAssion WaVe, to interactive games on events for National Environment Agency (NEA). Our Zero Waste Bootcamp teams have also joined us at a few such events to share their missive on how to lead lower waste lifestyles in the community.
