While Team Secondsguru often talks about reduced consumption as the best way to resolve the environmental problems we are faced with today- if we all consume less, we will create less waste – we are cognizant of the fact that some degree of purchases just have to be made in order to feel good, no, more like feel AWESOME! As Singapore is buzzing with the Great Singapore Sale (GSS) fever, we decided to list out few of our favourite eco-friendly brands which have offers on till end of July 2016 (early August is some cases) for their patrons.

So don’t waste any time, read on and buy what you must!

3. Artisan’s Garden

For those among us who love aromas, this is a perfect pick. Artisan’s Garden creates handmade soy-based candles in Singapore and has 25 fragrances to choose from. Unlike petroleum-based paraffin wax, soy is plant-based, non-toxic and naturally biodegradable – so make that switch if you haven’t already! Artisan’s Garden does not have any special GSS promotions this season, but given the reasonable price of their products, it deserves a place in this list. Gift it out, or top it over your warmer!

Our Pick: Wax soy melts, priced at S$17 for about 40 hours of scenting. Buy here. Also stocked by Scent Witch Wellness at Square 2, Singapore.
