From sustainable design principles and energy-efficient solutions to flora and fauna in the outdoor gardens, many sustainability features are built in at Singapore’s very own Gardens by the Bay. Join the FREE guided walking tours to learn about the importance and interconnectedness of the natural environment, biodiversity and climate change, made possible by Keppel.

Date : Every Sat and Sun in 2024 for an hour on a range of topics. Register here

Clean & Green Experiences are back and will be running from June to November 2024!

CGS Experiences is a key component of the annual Clean & Green Singapore campaign, and offers learning journeys to sites of environmental interest, where the public can learn more about ongoing sustainability efforts by a variety of stakeholders.

This year, CGS Experiences offers activities what will give participants a behind-the-scenes look into the work that goes into keeping Singapore clean and resilient, such as littering enforcement, refuse management and cleaning of public spaces.

Pre registration required. Booking opens 5th June onwards!

What to expect? From fresh produce to artisanal treats, plants, pet supplies and more importantly meet more of your tribe who share the same ethos. Book your spot here, entry is FREE.

How do I get there? Look for the prominent CRANE sign, adjacent to Cafe Natsu on the ground floor. Follow the path adorned with colorful graffiti, ascend the stairs next to Kohi’s service window, and you’ve arrived! Yup, the event is indoors and is a rain or shine event!

Do you feel it is a mammoth waste to throw that standing fan away? Are you often wishing it was possible to repair them but don’t know how?

Don’t throw your broken electrical appliances, furniture or damaged fabric – come and learn how to repair them! Repair Kopitiam is a monthly meet-up where you can fix your stuff and learn valuable gadget-saving skills. 9 locations islandwide!

So how many and what items can you take along when you go for this meet up? Each person is allowed upto 2 items per event. See their FAQ of acceptable items here

Modeled on Europe’s repair cafes, this is an initiative to bring the community together to repair. Let’s combat the throwaway culture for a sustainable world where we fix things instead of filling up our landfills.

In this workshop, you will be get equipped with skills on,
1. How to apply the hot compost method using everyday containers with a skilled trainer.

2. How to care for your container compost over the 1.5 months, and then use the compost when it is ready.

For participants with no garden of their own, the trainer will share tips on where to donate well-made compost or food scraps.
